Chipotle opening in Amelia, Ohio

Chipotle signed a 10 year lease for an end cap position to a retail center that will be built this summer in Amelia, Ohio. The gourmet Burrito & Taco restaurant will open this unit (its 30th Greater Cincinnati location) in front of the Pierce Cinema 10 Movie Theatre later this fall. Casey Ward brokered the deal.

Marco's Pizza to open at Deer Park Retail Center

Marco's Pizza has signed a 5 year lease for a 1,830 SF space at Deer Park Retail center located at the intersection of Galbraith Rd & Plainfield Rd. Marco's Pizza is set to open in the summer of 2010. The deal was brokered by Peter Borchers.

Little Caesar's Opens 3rd Northern Kentucky Location

Little Caesar's Pizza signed a 5 year lease to occupy Midland Retail's center on SR-42 in Florence. The pizza chain opened in mid March and this will be their 3rd Northern Kentucky location as the company continues to expand in the Tri-State area. Casey Ward brokered the deal with Eleen Mayleben representing the tenant.

Platinum Wireless to Open Two New Locations

Platinum Wireless, a Cincinnati Bell Dealer, is opening two new locations in the summer of 2010. The first location is located at Tylersville Commons at the intersection of Tylersville Rd & OH-4 BYPASS. Platinum Wireless signed a 5 year lease for 1,106 SF. The second new location for Platinum Wireless will be located at the Deer Park Retail Center at the intersection of Galbraith Rd & Plainefield Rd in Deer Park, Ohio. Platinum Wireless signed a 1 year lease for 980 SF. Peter Borchers brokered both deals.

Flip Daddy's Opens First Cincinnati Location

Flip Daddy's Gourmet Burger and Beer has opened its first Cincinnati location at the intersection of Wooster Pike & Walton Creek Rd in Mariemont, Ohio. Flip Daddy's signed a 7 year lease for 4,800 SF. Flip Daddy's Gourmet Burgers and Beer will open on July 1st, 2010. Peter Borchers brokered the deal.

Good Feet Relocated to Kenwood

Chipotle relocating in Kettering

The partners at Midland Retail and Rookwood Properties recently closed on land in Kettering and have begun construction of a freestanding Chipotle Mexican Grill. Chipotle will be relocating from their current unit which is just north on Far Hills Avenue. The company signed a 10 year lease and will open their new location later this summer.

Chick-fil-A to open in Florence

Chick-fil-A signed a 20 year lease with Midland Retail for a 1.6 acre outparcel that the company purchased in March 2009. The outparcel is located on Houston Road adjacent to Midland Retail's Houston Road Shoppes. The restaurant will start construction in May with a planned opening in September. This will be Chick-fil-A's 5th freestanding restaurant in greater Cincinnati.

Gymboree to Open at Columbia Square

Gymboree has signed a 4 year lease for a 2,500 SF space and will join Anytime Fitness and Brueggers Bagels. They will be constructing a new freestanding restaurant on the former Pizza Hut site and it will mark the chain's 25th opening in Greater Cincinnati. Panera Bread and City Barbeque are now open in Eastgate, OH. This is Midland Retail's latest development in Clermont County. Midland Retail purchased a one acre pad outparcel in front of Meijer in Eastgate and completed construction on the 7,875 sf building in October. This is the 19th Panera store in Greater Cincinnati and the 3rd location for City Barbeque and both are reporting very strong opening sales volumes.

Tower Wireless opens in Hyde Park

Tower Wireless is a Premier Verizon Wireless dealer and the first and only cellular store in the Hyde Park trade area that sells and services for Verizon customers. They recently opened at Midland Retail's project on Wasson Road in Oakley next to Noodles & Company. Tower Wireless signed a 7 year lease for the 2,000 sf space.

Stetson Square is located across from University Hospital at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Highland Avenue. Chipotle signed a 10 year lease for the 2,600 sf corner position. On October 6th, developer Midland Retail hired Peter Joseph as an addition to its retail brokerage team. Joseph will work with Midland's retail specialists focusing on Landlord and Tenant representation.

Peter Joseph joins Midland Retail from Colliers International, where he spent 7 years serving the commercial needs of clients like Bob Sumerel Tire, Dewey's Pizza, J-Gumbo's and many others.

A Cincinnati native, Peter Joseph graduated from St. Xavier High School and received his BA from Denison University. He, along with his wife, currently own the Goddard School on Red Bank Road.

Anytime Fitness in Columbia Square

Pre-Leasing is under way on Phase II of Al Neyer, Inc.'s Columbia Square Development. Midland Retail recently negotiated a five year lease with Anytime Fitness, a 24 hour fitness facility offering personal training and massage, to occupy 4,000 SF. Set to open in December of 2008, this will be the first 24 hour fitness center in the Columbia Tusculum/Mt. Lookout area.
